Thin films of polymer electrolyte based on poly( ethylene oxide) complexed with sodium iodide (NaI) were prepared using solution cast technique. The films have average thickness 0.7 mm and different NaI content. Absorption and reflectance spectra were collected by a spectrophotometer giving UV-radiation of wavelength range 300 – 800 nm. Thin films of poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) doped with sodium iodide (NaI) were prepared by casting method.
