Due to the urgent need of the local and regional community for graduates in the field of Applied Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, a department for this specialization has been established in the College of Allied Medical Sciences as of the first semester (2019-2020). This specialization has been accredited by the Higher Education Accreditation Commission (HEAC).

The Department offers a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology where the student receives the theoretical and clinical framework using the latest methods and devices specialized in the field of Applied Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology where the university has a laboratory for these devices and speech clinics and others for hearing in the areas of diagnosis and treatment.

Upon graduation, students will be able to work in hospitals, schools, hearing and speech clinics, and private training centers.
