The Graphic Design Department was established in 2008 within the faculty of Arts, then joined the faculty of Arts and Design, which was established in 2010.
Graphic design is considered an important specialization in the faculty of Art and Design, as it is a widely spread in the globe and touches upon many practical and social aspects of human life. Graphic design expanded to reach almost every field such as different industries, social media websites, multimedia, printing, press, media internet websites, modern hardware and software. Therefore, it is deemed vital and important to graduate and train graduates who are well prepared professionally and personally and ready to engage in regional and global market.
The Graphic Design Department includes distinguished and specialized faculty members in addition to supporting staff within the specialty to develop and update the study plan periodically to keep pace with the requirements of both our era and the sustainable development.
