About the Department

 

In response to the requirements of the labor market and to provide for qualified cadres in the field of management information systems, a specialization in management information systems was introduced within the Department of Business Administration in the academic year 2000/2001. Then he boarded as a department in 2005/2006

Department Achievements

The Department of Management Information Systems has achieved remarkable achievements since its inception until today, both scientifically and practically, and among its most important achievements:
  1. Management Information Systems specialization is proud of the distinction of its graduates over the course of the cohorts that were graduated by Zarqa University, as the information available to the department indicates that a graduate of management information systems gets a job in his field of specialization, and that he is able to deal with the challenges of scientific life and graduate studies without any obstacles.
  2. During the academic year 2007/2008, the course plan for the subjects studied by the student was updated in order to respond to developments in management information systems science and to meet the needs of the labor market.
  3. A number of faculty members in the department presented a number of scientific researches and participated in specialized scientific conferences - and they also issued a number of distinguished books.
  4. There are some extracurricular activities and partnerships, such as sending some colleagues to obtain a PhD
