The Faculty of Nursing was established in the academic year 2006-2007 to meet the goals of its foundations which aims at graduating highly qualified and skillful nursing personnel. The faculty aims toward enhancing the academic level of its students and reaching the highest level among its counterparts. To meet all of that, courses' syllabi were formulated after in-depth analysis and meticulous revision by a group of nursing specialists. Moreover, faculty members use advanced and updated teaching methods along with clinical training in the accredited hospitals and health centers in both governmental and private sectors.
The Faculty of Nursing includes six specialized educational laboratories equipped with the latest educational aids and electronic simulation devices of the highest quality, namely: Maternal Health Nursing Laboratory, which contains (Advanced Full Body Birth Simulator) (Lucina Child Birth Simulator), which is one of the most modern simulators and an adult health nursing (1) laboratory, in addition to an adult health nursing (2) laboratory which contains (CAE Apollo patient Simulator), which is one of the latest devices designed on the electronic simulation method, which shows the symptoms associated with many different diseases, and the Child Health Nursing Laboratory, which contains the Electronic Baby Simulator Base Unit), and the health assessment Lab.
All faculty laboratories contain the latest computers connected to the Internet, and the various display means that are used in the educational process such as data show devices, laptop computers, tablets, and modern LED screens. The faculty also has a research laboratory to assist faculty member's development in the research, and it contains many computers connected to the Internet and connected with an international electronic research data base.

4.Integrate research findings and nursing theory in decision making to provide professional and evidence-based nursing practice.
5.Implement health promotion, disease prevention plans, screening, and early interventions.
6.Integrate knowledge from the physiological, behavioral, technological, and health sciences into professional nursing practice.
7.Provide comprehensive nursing care that promotes physical, emotional, mental, and social well-being.
8.Promote awareness about global health, environmental health, and safety.
9.Demonstrate cultural competence in providing care and working with others.
