About the Faculty
The Faculty of Media was established at Zarqa University in the second semester 2010-2011, as an extension of the Department of Journalism and Media that was established at the beginning of the academic year 2010-2011, and the transfer of the department to a Faculty came in line with the needs of the Jordanian and Arab market, and its requirements for trained media competencies and keeping abreast of scientific and practical developments in the field Press and media.
The faculty currently includes more than 200 male and female students, in addition to other students from various university specialties, who wish to refine their media and journalistic skills, and increase their intellectual hunger. The Arabic language is used as the main language of instruction, in addition to a number of courses taught in the English language. The faculty offers two undergraduate programs: Journalism and Digital Media, and Radio and Television, which give a bachelor's degree in each discipline.
