Zarqa
University President, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Wadi, opened the second exhibition
for the students of the Department of Architecture, organized by the Faculty of
Technological Engineering at the University.
Dr.
Al-Wadi said that the university is keen to prepare outstanding students in the
belief that the students are the focus of the educational process, pointing out
that the university is working to provide an environment suitable for students
to train and qualify them to become specialists in their field of study, encourage
excellence and creativity, enrich their experiences, and develop their skills
and professional abilities, which reflects the outstanding level of the faculty.
The
head of the Department of Architecture, Dr. Malik Al-Momani, thanked the
University's administration for their continued support of the Faculty and its
students, stressing that the faculty is working on preparing qualified and
trained engineers able to meet the requirements of the labor market. He also pointed
out that these activities come to achieve the vision and mission of the faculty,
and the mission of the university.
The
exhibition includes a number of creative designs and projects. It also reflects
the scientific reality of the students, which reflects the theoretical material
of creative projects, as well as the achievements of the students and their
distinctive abilities in design, creativity, and innovation.
On
the sidelines of the exhibition, which was attended by the Dean of the Faculty
of Engineering, Dr. Taysir Al-Ghanim, members of the teaching and
administrative staff, and a number of students, Dr. Al-Wadi distributed
certificates of appreciation to outstanding students in the Department of
Architecture for the academic year 2016/2017.
