3-6/10/2021, the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Zarqa University organized
an educational induction program for new faculty members.
The organization of this program comes in response to the
university's policy to develop and develop the professional competencies of new
faculty members, in particular, and those wishing from old faculty members.
The Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Dr. Reda
Al-Muwadiyah, indicated that the program aims to create a frame of reference,
build achievement tests, and introduce the faculty member to the approaches to
professional growth in terms of research, authorship and scientific publishing,
in addition to emphasizing the role of the faculty member in the university and
the local community.
On the first day, the new faculty members listened to a guiding
speech from the president of the university, Prof. Nidal Al-Ramahi, while Dr.
Omar Al-Makhzoumi presented about the university’s systems and education, and
the Dean of Scientific Research, Dr. Khaled Al-Qawasmi, talked about the
mechanisms for supporting scientific research and the awards and incentives
offered to faculty members.
The second day includes lectures on quality assurance standards in
higher education presented by Dr. Reda Al-Muwadhi, and student counseling
presented by Dr. Khaled Al-Zaeideen.
The program included a lecture by the Director of the E-Learning
Center, Dr. Maram Al-Saffarini, about electronic exams and introducing the
(Moodle) system, the Director of the Computer Center, and Dr. Amer Abu Salem,
on how to use (Microsoft teams), and the Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Dr.
Majid, an assistant on how to deal with the university student.
