The Faculty of Sharia seeks to create scientific outputs in accordance with comprehensive quality standards in the fields of education and research, to qualify distinguished specialists in the legal field scientifically, intellectually and behaviorally, and enabling them to play an active role in community service in the theoretical and practical legal fields, which reflects the true image of Islam.

Strategic Objectives of the Faculty
To fulfill its mission and vision, the Faculty of Sharia is committed to achieving the following strategic objectives:
- Provide a high-quality academic environment that delivers excellence in teaching and prepares highly qualified specialists in Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh), Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence (Usul al-Fiqh), and the Fundamentals of Religion (Usul al-Din), with particular attention to international students.
- Prepare graduates who are capable of understanding, interpreting, and applying Islamic legal rulings in accordance with the higher objectives (Maqāṣid) of Islamic law.
- Promote religious awareness within the community and encourage adherence to the values and principles of Islamic Sharia.
- Contribute actively to scientific research, conferences, seminars, and scholarly studies, particularly in contemporary and emerging issues, to develop sound jurisprudential opinions that serve both individual and societal interests while remaining consistent with the objectives of Islamic law.
- Present the true and enlightened image of Islam by cultivating objective, balanced, and moderate scholarly thinking that strengthens society against intellectual and behavioral extremism.
- Advance the study of Islamic jurisprudence and its related sciences, with particular emphasis on legal foundations and jurisprudential reasoning.
- Develop students' jurisprudential competence, analytical abilities, and research skills, enabling them to critically evaluate evidence, apply legal reasoning, and produce original scholarly research.
- Foster graduates with a strong Islamic identity and a balanced understanding of Islam that harmonizes authenticity with contemporary relevance while adhering to the objectives of Sharia.
- Prepare highly qualified professionals capable of serving contemporary Muslim societies in the fields of Islamic thought, legislation, judiciary, Islamic economics, education, Da'wah, guidance, social reform, and the preservation and verification of Islamic heritage.
- Continuously enhance curricula and teaching methodologies across the disciplines of Islamic jurisprudence, legal theory, Hadith studies, and Qur'anic studies to meet the evolving needs of modern society.
