Vision, Mission & Objectives

 


Vision:

Excellence in providing educational and research services in all disciplines of engineering and technology in order to contribute to achieving the vision of Zarqa University, which is seeking to develop the local and regional community and economy.

Mission:

To prepare highly qualified and trained engineers to meet the local and regional technological demands and to conduct engineering research that serves community needs.

Objectives:

  • Prepare highly qualified engineers equipped with theoretical and technical skills, through the utilization of up-to-date technological education means.
  • Provide a motivating educational environment for faculty members and students to enhance the learning and teaching (face-to-face, and remotely) process.
  • Prepare and develop study plans and curriculums consistently to meet emerging technological development, international standards and market demands.
  • Attract distinguished academic staff and foster the academic and professional level of faculty members.
  • Encourage academic, scientific and research collaboration with local, regional and international institutions.
  • Participate in serving and developing local community.

Strategic Goals and Objectives

First 

 (1-1) Recruit and retain highly qualified faculty members within the College.

(1-2) Provide continuous training and professional development opportunities for faculty members in teaching, research, and academic activities that support their academic and career advancement.

(1-3) Implement comprehensive and continuous evaluation of faculty members' performance in teaching, research, and community service.

(1-4) Encourage active participation of faculty members in local and international conferences, workshops, and community engagement activities.

Second 

(2-1) Promote strategic management practices among the College leadership to ensure continuous development and excellence across all College activities.

Third 

 (3-1) Enhance the academic quality of graduates to enable them to excel locally, regionally, and globally.

(3-2) Align the College's academic programs and specializations with the evolving needs of local and regional labor markets.

(3-3) Keep pace with technological advancements in higher education.

Fourth 

(4-1) Provide both tangible and intangible resources necessary to support, encourage, and stimulate scientific research within the College.

Fifth 

(5-1) Foster students' personal development by promoting citizenship, democratic values, community engagement, confidence in the University, and positive relationships with academic and administrative staff.

(5-2) Enhance the College's facilities and improve the academic technological infrastructure and services provided to students.

Sixth 

 (6-1) Adhere to the University's Total Quality Management (TQM) system as a pathway toward institutional excellence.

(6-2) Continuously fulfill the requirements for both institutional and program accreditation.

(7-1) Secure timely University support to ensure the effective implementation of the College's activities and programs.
