The Faculty of Media at Zarqa
University has completed the construction of a fully integrated podcast studio,
equipped with the latest audio and digital technologies and equipment, with
support from the Namaa Charitable Foundation in Kuwait.
This project comes in preparation
for the new academic year and as part of the Faculty's ongoing efforts to
develop its educational infrastructure and enhance students' practical
capabilities in the fields of digital media and audio production, in line with
the requirements of the modern labor market and the rapid digital
transformations in the media industry.
Dr. Amjad Safouri, the Dean of the
Faculty of Media at Zarqa University, said that this studio represents a
qualitative leap in the practical training tools for students, especially in
the field of podcasting, which has become widely popular and widespread. He
emphasized that the cooperation with the Namaa Charitable Foundation reflects
the depth of the fruitful partnership between the two parties and the foundation's
commitment to supporting quality education in Jordan.
He pointed out that the Faculty
attaches utmost importance to the practical training of students, based on its
belief that applied skills represent the cornerstone in building the
personality of a professional media professional, capable of keeping pace with
the rapid changes in the modern media environment.
He emphasized that the new studio
will be an important training platform that enables students to produce
professional content that serves societal, cultural, and educational issues, in
addition to organizing specialized training workshops on preparation and
presentation skills, enhancing the quality of the Faculty's output.
It is worth noting that the Namaa
Charitable Foundation in Kuwait is a leading institution in supporting
educational and development initiatives in the Arab world and has previously
collaborated with the Faculty of Media on several activities aimed at promoting
the values of responsible media and sustainable development.
