Dr. Yousef Al-Mashaqbeh, Head of the Department of Journalism and Digital Media at the Faculty of Media at Zarqa University, delivered a training workshop titled “The Art of Radio and Television Presentation, Public Speaking, and Conversation Skills.” The workshop was organized by the Mafraq Directorate of Culture in partnership with the Digital Television of Greater Mafraq Municipality.

The week-long workshop aimed to equip participants with essential media and practical skills, including the fundamentals of media appearance, news writing, and news bulletin preparation, in addition to hands-on applications in radio and television presentation.

Dr. Mohammad Khalaf Al-Fayez, Chairman of the Municipal Committee, praised the university’s cooperation and openness with the municipality and relevant local communities in the media sector, highlighting the importance of implementing specialized workshops and training programs that support youth, media enthusiasts, and content creators.

For his part, Director of Mafraq Culture Directorate Samer Al-Khaza’leh expressed his appreciation for the participation of Zarqa University faculty members in training and qualifying participants to enhance their skills in media and digital communication.

Meanwhile, Sohaim Al-Hawamdeh, Director of Public Relations and Media at Greater Mafraq Municipality, emphasized that this workshop represents the first initiative following the official launch of the Digital Television, contributing to encouraging participants to produce meaningful and purposeful media content.

Dr. Amjad Al-Safouri, Dean of the Faculty of Media at Zarqa University, affirmed the university’s commitment to maintaining communication with all national institutions and municipal councils by providing purposeful training and qualification programs, particularly in practical fields and the skills required for professional media work.
