Foreign Students Care
In line with Zarqa University’s overall strategic vision, which emphasizes the importance of supporting international students and providing them with comprehensive care and services, the International Student Affairs Division was established to strengthen the University’s ongoing efforts to attract qualified international students and enhance international relations in the fields of education and research. The Division was established on October 24, 2010. Under the guidance of the Dean of Student Affairs, it continues to be developed in accordance with the number of international students, as well as their needs, expectations, and suggestions.

To achieve excellence in providing services to international students, thereby contributing to the internationalization of education and enhancing the quality of the University’s overall performance, positioning Zarqa University among leading higher education institutions in terms of both the scope and quality of services provided.
Mission
To enhance the quality and effectiveness of the Division’s performance through systematic planning and continuous follow-up, thereby strengthening its capacity to meet academic and administrative standards.
Duties of the International Student Affairs Division
- To establish and maintain a comprehensive database for international students, both manually and electronically, ensuring easy access to relevant information such as students’ contact details and academic status.
- To distribute introductory brochures and the International Student Guide to familiarize international students with the Division’s responsibilities, services, and objectives.
- To follow up on the procedures required for international students to obtain the necessary residency permits in the Kingdom in accordance with applicable regulations.
- To maintain communication with cultural attachés and the embassies of countries whose students are enrolled at the University.
- To coordinate meetings between international students and the cultural attachés of their respective embassies upon request.
- To organize meetings for international students with the University President and the Dean of Student Affairs.
- To hold regular meetings with international students at the International Students Club to listen to their suggestions, concerns, and feedback.
- To organize and supervise extracurricular activities for international students, including celebrations, cultural programs, and recreational activities.
