The Deanship of Student Affairs at
Zarqa University, in cooperation with the Community Policing Branch of the
Zarqa Governorate Police Directorate and the Anti-Narcotics Department in Zarqa
Governorate, organized a "Mobile Drug Exhibition (Bus)" on Monday,
July 14th, 2025. The event aimed to educate students about the
dangers of this scourge and ways to prevent it.
The exhibition was attended by Dr.
Mukhled Al-Zoubi, the Dean of Students’ Affairs, a number of officers and
personnel from participating security agencies, and a group of university
students and staff. The exhibition included a comprehensive explanation of the
dangers of drugs and their negative effects on individuals and society, in
addition to awareness-raising and prevention methods.
Dr. Mukhled Al-Zoubi, the Dean of
Students’ Affairs, emphasized that organizing such events aligns with the
university's mission to raise awareness among its students and protect them
from dangers that could threaten their future. He highlighted the importance of
partnerships with security agencies and relevant institutions, given their
effective role in protecting youth from this dangerous scourge.
Al-Zoubi added that the university
continues to offer awareness and guidance programs aimed at creating a safe,
drug-free university environment. This unique activity comes within the
directives of His Excellency Dr. Mahmoud Abu Shaira, Chairman of the Board of
Directors of Zarqa Educational and Investment Company, to activate the
university's partnerships and enhance cooperation with all parties to achieve
the university's vision of serving the community.
