Zarqa University signed a
cooperation agreement with Pella Pharmaceuticals on Sunday, September 28th,
2025. The agreement aims to enhance and develop practical training for pharmacy
students, contributing to raising their efficiency and preparing them for the
labor market.
The agreement was signed on behalf
of Zarqa University by its President, Prof. Dr. Nidal Al-Ramahi, and on behalf
of Pella Pharmaceuticals by Dr. Bashar Tawfiq Bataineh, in the presence of Prof.
Dr. Ahlam Al-Kilani, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
The signing included a tour of the
Pharmaceutical Research Center. During the visit, the Pella
delegation was briefed on the center's most prominent research and laboratory
capabilities.
Prof. Al-Ramahi emphasized that this
agreement represents an important step toward strengthening partnerships with
the industrial sector, which will positively influence the development of
academic and training programs at the university.
Prof. Al-Kilani emphasized the
importance of cooperating with Pella in enriching the practical aspects of the faculty's
students, noting that this partnership will open the way for students to gain
advanced practical experience within a sophisticated industrial environment.
At the conclusion of the visit, Prof.
Al-Ramahi presented the Pella Pharmaceuticals delegation with a shield of
appreciation in recognition of the company's role in supporting the educational
and research process at the university.
