Student Sultan Zuhair Al-Maghribi,
from the Faculty of Media, Department of Journalism and Digital Media, at Zarqa
University, participated in the "Summits for Promising Leaders"
program, which recently concluded in Amman. The program included a group of
distinguished students from various Jordanian universities.
The program included a series of
training sessions, mentoring sessions, and field visits to a number of national
and regional institutions and companies, with the aim of developing students'
leadership skills and enhancing their practical and academic capabilities,
enabling them to excel in their future lives.
It's worth noting that the program
attracted more than five thousand applicants from Jordanian and Arab
universities. Only twenty-four students were selected to participate,
representing less than half a percent of the total applicants, reflecting the
program's exclusivity and high competitiveness.
Dr. Amjad Safouri, the Dean of the
Faculty of Media at Zarqa University, expressed his pride in the Moroccan
student's participation, emphasizing that this achievement reflects an
honorable image for the Faculty of Media students and the university in
general, and embodies the level of competence and excellence achieved by its
students in various academic and practical fields.
He pointed out that the Faculty is
keen to support its students and encourage them to engage in pioneering
programs and creative initiatives that open new horizons for success. He noted
that participation in such programs contributes to refining students'
personalities and preparing them to be effective leaders in the service of
their country and society.
He emphasized that the Faculty of Media
at Zarqa University will continue its efforts to empower students and provide
them with the skills necessary to keep pace with the demands of the labor
market, in line with the university's vision and mission to graduate qualified
professionals capable of facing the challenges of the digital age.
