Zarqa University continued to demonstrate a strong presence in sporting events after student Fursan Mohammad Hassan Al-Edaili, from the Faculty of Information Technology, secured third place and the bronze medal in the Men’s 85 kg category at the Central Boxing Championship.
The championship was held under the supervision of the Jordan Boxing Federation from 23 July to 5 August 2026 at Martyr Rashid Al-Zyoud Sports Hall in the Sports City. The event brought together 640 athletes from various age categories and was attended during part of the competitions by His Highness Prince Nayef bin Assem, President of the Jordan Boxing Federation.
Al-Edaili delivered an impressive performance throughout the championship, ultimately earning third place and the bronze medal in the Men’s 85 kg category. His achievement reflects his outstanding athletic ability and his capacity to compete successfully in one of Jordan’s prominent national boxing championships.
