The Faculty of Nursing at Zarqa University organized an educational and recreational activity for students enrolled in the Clinical Pediatric Nursing course at the Pediatric Department of Zarqa Governmental Hospital. The activity was supervised by faculty member Ms. Maha Rababah and Clinical Training Supervisor Ms. Bayan Khazaleh.

The activity included discussions on several important health topics related to child health through an interactive approach that combined theoretical knowledge with practical application. Key topics included the importance of breastfeeding and its role in supporting children’s health and growth, child growth and development and the monitoring of its various stages, fever in children and appropriate management methods, as well as urinary tract infections in children and ways to prevent and reduce their occurrence.

The activity also featured a number of recreational and interactive sessions that created a positive atmosphere for the students and contributed to strengthening cooperation, communication, and teamwork among them.

This activity reflects the Faculty of Nursing’s commitment to providing an integrated learning environment that contributes to developing students’ scientific and clinical skills and enhances their ability to provide safe, evidence-based nursing care.

Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Ahmad Rayan, stated that such activities represent an important part of the Faculty’s approach to promoting practice-based and clinical education. He emphasized the importance of providing students with interactive learning opportunities that enhance their knowledge and skills and support their professional readiness to deliver high-quality nursing care to children and their families.
