The Faculty of Law at Zarqa University concluded the master’s thesis defenses for the Summer Semester of the 2025–2026 academic year in the field of Law. A number of students defended their theses under the supervision of distinguished faculty members.
Student Nisban Ayoub Khalaf Al-Mashaqbeh defended her thesis entitled, “The Liability of the Data Controller for Damages Resulting from Cybersecurity Incidents under Jordanian Legislation: A Comparative Study.” Student Dania Rami Ghaleb Dgheish also defended her thesis entitled, “Limits of the Employer’s Authority to Impose Disciplinary Sanctions under Jordanian Legislation: A Comparative Study.” In addition, student Islam Ayad Suleiman Abu Sarhan defended her thesis entitled, “The Legal Regulation of the Human Genome under Jordanian Legislation: A Comparative Study.” The three theses were supervised by Dr. Mohammad Muslim Al-Zawahreh.
Student Ahmad Suleiman Ahmad Al-Sarhani defended his thesis entitled, “Provisions Governing the Crime of Electronic Fraud under the Jordanian and Saudi Legal Systems: A Comparative Analytical Study.” Student Nader Saleh Ahmad Al-Shakhanbeh also defended his thesis entitled, “The Evidentiary Value of Digital Evidence in Criminal Proceedings under Jordanian Legislation: A Comparative Study.” Both theses were supervised by Dr. Khaled Saud Al-Jbour.
Student Yousef Samir Shehadeh Al-Rajabi defended his thesis entitled, “Combining Compensation for Bodily Injuries under Jordanian Law: An Analytical Study.” Student Anas Abdul Majeed Abdullah Al-Khaddam presented his thesis entitled, “The Basis of Civil Liability under Jordanian Legislation for Damages Resulting from Interactive Chat Systems, with ChatGPT as a Model: A Comparative Study.” Student Yousef Shawkat Yousef Al-Saoub also defended his thesis entitled, “Civil Liability Arising from Personal Data Breaches under Jordanian and UAE Legislation.” The theses were supervised by Prof. Dr. Yousef Ahmad Mufleh.
