Vision

The Energy Research Center is committed to creating a significant qualitative advancement in research related to the generation, integration, and analysis of all variables associated with renewable energy sources. The Center aspires to establish a distinctive and highly credible position in the field of energy research through its achievements and effective partnerships, contributing to the development of both the local and regional communities.

To achieve this vision, the Center seeks to:

• Understand the requirements of local and global markets in terms of energy demand and consumption.
• Develop specialized educational programs in energy technologies.
• Investigate real-world challenges facing the local community and develop scientifically grounded solutions in collaboration with research groups specializing in energy-related fields.

Mission

The quality of performance and productivity within any society is directly influenced by the manner and extent to which energy—both conventional and renewable—is consumed at the individual, local, and regional levels. Energy use also has a direct impact on national income and the strategic importance of society.

Furthermore, economic growth and the achievement of national and environmental security depend greatly on the effective and efficient utilization of energy technologies.

Accordingly, the mission of the Energy Research Center is to develop innovative solutions to the growing challenges associated with ensuring access to sufficient, clean, and optimally utilized energy for our local community and the wider Arab region, which is rich in diverse natural resources.
