Objectives

The Energy Research Center aims to conduct independent and purposeful research at both the local and regional levels in order to deepen knowledge and understanding of energy, its requirements, challenges, and related issues, while developing innovative solutions to address them.

The Center also seeks to promote interdisciplinary research activities and explore their contribution to economic and social development, as well as their impact on the environment and climate change in Jordan and the surrounding region.

Furthermore, the Center aims to establish strategic partnerships with specialized organizations and relevant institutions at both the local and international levels in the renewable energy sector, with particular emphasis on energy production and consumption.
